Frequently Asked Questions
What do I wear? You are required to wear something easy to move in. This method of yoga focuses heavily on the feet as our foundation, so no socks are recommended.
What props do I need? For regular in-person classes, no props are needed. The studio will provide all the props that are needed. For online classes please see the section below.
Is this class for the very beginner? All classes are General Level at this time, so beginners are welcome.
FOR LIVE ONLINE ATTENDANCE
What are Live Online Classes? Live-online classes are offered in real time, with the teacher. You and other class members connect virtually through Zoom. Zoom.us is a free software that can be downloaded to your smartphone or computer. You will be able to download the software without signing up for it. During the class you will be able to see the teacher, receive personalized instruction and ask questions as you need.
What props do I need? At minimum a sticky mat although I would highly recommend a yoga starter kit like the one shown here to get started. Classes are being taught with minimal props, but gather your blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters and chairs if you have them.
How do I prepare for a Zoom class? Prior to the class please find a location that will allow the camera to take a full body view of you on a yoga mat with your arms outstretched upwards and to the sides.
How do I Join the Zoom class? Upon confirmation of your booking a zoom link for the class will be emailed to you. At class time you will be able to click on that link to join the class.
